1.) What is birth photography?

  • Birth photography captures the miracle of birth. All the emotions, the strength, the support that goes into bringing your child into this world. It captures your reaction as you first touch your baby, your partners face as he sees you become a mother. Its definitely not just me taking photos of your private area, there are many different places I can stand. Don’t want the graphic shots? Perfect I will stand up by your head and be sure to only capture the emotions.

2.) Why would I hire a birth photographer?

  • The photos from your labor and delivery are a beautiful reminder of all that you went through on one of the most important day of your life. It allows all your support people to be fully present so they don’t have to worry about taking the photos for you. As a professional birth photographer I know how to work in all lighting and can move fast to make sure they get all the important shots.

3.) Can we meet before hand?

  • Absolutely, I would love to meet you before hand so I am not a stranger coming into your birth space.

4.) What if I go into labor at 2 a.m will you be there?

  • Of course! I am available for you 24/7 once you hire me. Call me at 2 a.m and I will be there!

5.) What if I don’t want my photos shared?

  • I only share the photos I have permission to share! If you want to wait till you get your birth photos back to decide that is perfect! Whatever makes you feel most comfortable. Documenting your birth story is about the memories for you!

6.) Birth photography is a big investment

  • I accept payment plans, it is best to book me early so we can set up a monthly payment plan! As soon as you find out you are pregnant message me and we can set something up!
